Our Mission

The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wyoming is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Our Efforts

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming works to make wishes come true for children ages 2 1/2 to 18 who suffer from life-threatening medical conditions. Currently, over 220 Wyoming children have had their wishes come true and 45 wish kids from around the country have been assisted in visiting Wyoming.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization.

Current Events:

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wyoming will host the 6th annual Stories-of-Light Wine Tasting, Dinner and Auction at the Best Western Ramkota in Casper, WY on November 15, 2008 from 6:00 to 10:00pm. Come hear inspirational stories of hope, strength and joy told about our wonderful wish kids. A level of the Platte River Parkway's oil derrick will be lit for every child's wish adopted. Tickets are $90.00 per person and include wine tasting, delicious appetizers and a gourmet meal.

Smiles for Life Whitening Campaign for Wishes! Whiten your smile and brighten a child's life. Until June 30th, 2008, Drs. Stuart and Melissa Youmans are offering discounted whitening and are donating every dollar to The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming and the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation. Behind the Glass, located at the Sunrise Shopping Center, will hold an autograph signing on Saturday, June 28th from 10:00am to 4:00pm, with all proceeds going to The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming. Behind the Glass has invited past UW athletes to participate in this event. Admission is $20.00. Please call Kim at 265-2133 for more information.

We would like to thank the McMurry Foundation for a $30,000.00 grant, the Lightner Sams Foundation for a $5,000.00 grant, and UHS for a $6,000.00 grant.

We thank the American Petroleum Institute Chili Cook-Off 2008 for the $7,000.00 donation.
