Our Mission

The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wyoming is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Our Efforts

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming works to make wishes come true for children ages 2 1/2 to 18 who suffer from life-threatening medical conditions. Currently, over 220 Wyoming children have had their wishes come true and 45 wish kids from around the country have been assisted in visiting Wyoming.

Annual Stories of Light® Dinner/Auction will be held Nov. 14, 2009 at 6:00pm at the Ramkota in Casper. Enjoy a gourmet dinner with live auction, raffles, and wish stories from several of Wyoming's wish children. Sponsorships are still available. Please call 307-234-9474.

Please join us this holiday season as we light up the hearts of Wyoming residents through out Stories of Light® Radio Campaign Dinner/Auction with stories of Wyoming children who have experienced the magic of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of WY. Each day from Nov. 14 through Dec.14, 2009, GapWest Broadcasting Radio will be filling the airwaves with these inspirational stories, and asking for local companies or individuals to step forward and "Adopt-A-Wish". Every time a wish is funded, we will illuminate a level of the Platte River Parkway Oil Derrick at the corner of 1st & Poplar!

Thank you Jewelers For Children for the $6,000 grant to sponsor 8 year old Thomas from Green River, whose wish was to go to Walt Disney World®. Jewelers for Children (JFC) was created by the jewelry and diamond industry with the mission of raising funds for charities that primarily benefit children. Since 1999, JFC has helped the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant more than 1,100 wishes through the Wish A State program founded in cooperation with JFC and Jewelers of America. Through the generosity of the Walt Disney Company, Thomas experienced his fondest wish to visit the Walt Disney World® Resort.

eBay Sellers! You can donate a portion of your auction proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation through MissionFish. eBay uses MissionFish as an arbiter to allow sellers to donate a portion of their proceeds to a charity of their choice!

Home & Garden Pary, Ltd. has signed on as a national partner. June 15, 2008 through June 30, 2009, Home & Garden Party will donate $4 for each joy candle, priced at $7.50, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This joy themed candle will be sold on the Home & Garden Party website and in the 2008-2009 catalogs. For more details, visit www.homeandgardenparty.com.

Support Wishes Through the CFC - Federal employees can help the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wyoming grant wishes through the Combined Federal Campaign. Please mark CFC#49751 on your campaign card.

Cheryl&Co. is expanding its Make-A-Wish cookie collection, all appropriate for any occasion. These can be purchased at www.cherylandco.com, and approximately 20 percent of the purchase price will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
